Shift Into Relaxation!

Ready To Shift Into Relaxation!

Do you ever have a hard time falling asleep? Its time to Shift into relaxation!

Does your “monkey mind” take over when things get quiet?

Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night, unable to fall back to sleep?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, I have just the thing for you!

Believe it or not, it takes energy to sleep. It takes energy to relax. The energy of relaxation is much different than the energy of creativity, productivity, and accomplishment. In our competitive, fast-paced world we spend so much time in the frantic energy. In our culture, it is often hard to turn it off or shift to the frequency of relaxation and restful sleep.

The Rhythm of “Peace”

Back in 2002, I recorded my first CD, 4 Doors Open. One of the tracks on this CD has become the most popular track that I have ever produced—until the Shift It! program was developed. The track is called “Peace.” It’s comprised of a simple djembe rhythm, accompanied by a Native American hoop drum. Very simple, very steady, and profoundly entrancing.

Toby Christensen's 4 Doors Open CDThe track originally was designed for a heart transplant patient who had a difficult blood pressure issue. Her blood pressure would skyrocket off the charts and was preventing her from receiving the life-saving procedure. To confirm the results we were having by this particular rhythm during her healing sessions, we took her blood pressure before her treatment, immediately after her treatment, and every two hours for 8 hours afterward. The fact that she is a nurse practitioner by profession made this part very easy. The bottom line is the drumming rhythm that I played during her sessions significantly reduced her blood pressure and sustained this lower blood pressure for a significant period of time.

Because I was unable to be at her disposal 24/7, I created a CD with this relaxing rhythm. What we found was that there was still a significant reduction in blood pressure when she used a recorded version of that rhythm. After testing this recorded version over a period of six months, I realized the importance of getting this therapeutic drumming recorded and available so that everyone can experience the healing power of therapeutic drumming and music!

The Soothing Power of the Djembe Drum

Taking this information and applying it from a generic rhythm to a rhythm that is custom-designed for a specific client, I have had phenomenal results in helping people find a place of peace, restful sleep, and relaxation.

One of the most profound testimonials I’ve received is a woman from Australia who had a grandchild who would go into inconsolable crying. One day when she had reached the end of her rope, totally frustrated by her inability to calm her grandson, she put 4 Doors Open into the CD player and let the soothing rhythms of “Peace” fill the air.

She emailed me the next day with great joy and relief that her grandson was sleeping peacefully more often than not!

Personalized Healing Frequencies Available

I am now doing custom soundtracks specifically tailored to the needs of my clients so that recorded music is even more potent and effective as the generic version done 10 years ago.

The Shift It! sample that I am sharing with you in this post will help you relax. It is a consistent rhythm with relaxing frequencies and melodies. Try it out and see how it works for you! Listen to it when you are uptight or coming off of the adrenaline rush of a busy day. Allow yourself to fall asleep to it, and wake rested!
