Being heard and being listened to are very different. When you are speaking to a client are you watching their response mechanisms? Their eye contact, body language. Have you asked questions that would prequalify them so you know they are your perfect customer?

If you don’t know who you are talking to, it is not the clients fault you are wasting your time. Make sure you have interest before you make the appointment for a sales call. Make sure you know their problem and how you can solve it for them or with them.
